On May 31, 2026 we had our Customer Appreciation Party at the Ocean Isle Beach Park.  The weather was gorgeous, and we had a great turn out.  Our son Alan, who used to be a chef, made some pulled pork, baked beans and coleslaw, and Robert made some macaroni salad.  We had chips and sodas, and, this being the South, Sweet Tea.  Our thanks to our vendors who donated coupons, etc. for raffles, which everyone, especially the winners, enjoyed.  Our thanks to Burney's Sweets of Shallotte for the tasty, glazed croissants they donated.  Doug's Seafood was very generous, donating $100.00 worth of coupons for seafood at either one of their locations - Shallotte or Ocean Isle Beach.  We also want to thank Mmm Que Rico Restaurant, Causeway Gourmet Restaurant, Captain Nance Restaurant, Duffers Bar and Grill and Jewelry by Wendy for their generosity. Our customers got to meet our family, and a good time was had by all.  

This week we received a thank you card from one of our customers with the following message:  "Hi Robert and Alan.  I really enjoyed the day with you and your family at the picnic that you put together for all of us to enjoy.  Thanks to you and your family.  S. Johnson."
